In the film business, Madonna directed the feature film W.E. The story was a bio-pic about the abdication of King Edward VIII and his love for Wallis (E.) Simpson. As part of the score, she had contributed a new song titled "Masterpiece" for the W.E. soundtrack, composed by herself, Julie Frost and Jimmy Harry. Masterpiece won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in January of 2012.
