It you need a lesson on how to create, operate and succeed on a reality show, you only need to look as far as Jesse James. The tatted-up reality show personality has a three pack of successful shows on a variety of networks that keep his image and legacy close to the outlaw namesake. James has run the show Jesse James is a Dead Man that plays on Spike TV. He has hosted Monster Garage on the Discovery Channel. And he has a new series called Jesse James Outlaw Garage on the Discovery network.
While he works the airwaves, James still runs substantial business. He is the CEO of West Coast Choppers that builds custom motorcycles for two-wheel glitzy aficionados. He has opened another shop in Austin, Texas called Austin Speed Shop.
James got his start as a bodyguard. He protected the likes of Slayer and Soundgarden. With that gig coming to an end and a little coin in his pocket, he started up West Coast Choppers to great fanfare and success. His love of mechanics includes both bike building and car improvements.
His success with television and production has lead to his creating Payupsuckers Productions. This vehicle has provided him an opportunity to showcase historical aspects of motorcycles, the motorcycling culture and some of the hot babes that seem to travel in those circles
James is infamously known for the blow up marriage he had with Sandra Bullock. While she was away at work trying to earn an Oscar, James was doing more piston work on things that didn't have engines. The high profile marriage didn't survive. In less than two years, James has been hard at work with improving that meandering eye. Although his engagement to Kat Von D has blown up, the former bride-to-be believes his cheating ways only racked up 19 accomplices in the act. That is reeling it in.
