Aubrey O’Day makes a living as a singer, songwriter, actress, fashion designer, reality television personality and was also a member of the girl group Danity Kane. O’Day knew she was destined to be a star at the very young age of five, although her mother claimed otherwise. When she was four, she attended a performance of The Nutcracker with her mother. When she suddenly started to cry, her mother asked her what was wrong. O’Day replied that she was sad to be sitting there and that she was not on the stage.
Even though O’Day had a strong desire to be a star at a very young age, she was not discovered until 2004 when she participated in the MTV reality show Making the Band 3. Aubrey O’Day had dropped out of college to attend the competition and took a great risk, however, that risk paid off and she became one of the first members of Danity Kane.
After some serious problems with the other members of the band and her former Sean Combs, O’Day was fired from the band in 2008. Aubrey O’Day did not let it get to her and landed a role in Broadway musical Hairspray in that same year. She also featured in the 2009 comedy American High School and started to pursue a solo music career.
In 2012, Aubrey O’Day competed in the U.S. version of Celebrity Apprentice. She got loads of criticism from other contestants and film crew, claiming she was narcissistic, self-centered, evil and vicious.
Next to her various roles on television and her music career, Aubrey O’Day has also posed for various male magazines, including Playboy and Maxim’s. No matter where she goes, she always has the reputation of party girl and sex bomb.
